Primary Function

Lead local transportation function

Coordinate and manage outsourcing logistic services supplier;

Ensure local transportation process going on smoothly;

Manage transportation KPI; Manage transport operation within budgeted cost and continue drive for efficiency and cost reduction.

Responsible on maintaining up to date and accurate logistic report

Have knowledge of import and export operation, bonded activities, continuously optimization logistic process.





Key Responsibilities and Activities

Freight Management– leverages industry understanding and carrier relationships to drive efficiencies and positive carrier behavior. Leads carrier rate negotiations, selects appropriate carriers based on analysis of metrics. Acts as a backup to other team members .Develops delivery planning scenarios to inform decision making; Develops contingency plans to ensure service continuity;


Supply Planning &Execution – Establishes supply, inventory plans based on a demand plan and supply constraints. Identifies, evaluates and plans all necessary resources to deliver supply plan or production schedule;


Data &Project management - Evaluates complex data relationships and uses advanced tools such as LSS methodologies. Uses data findings to make broader/cross-functional business recommendations and medium-term decisions; Continuously maintains project documentation; communicates progress and issues regularly to stakeholders.


SAP operation & Optimization – Familiar with SAP operation. Have knowledge of SAP flow chart and can initiative to find defects in current process. Close to work with SAP consultant to improve reports.


Import/Export/Bonded Activities Management – Supervise bonded handbook balance, periodical organize related functional make internal audit. Have import & export knowledge to support import & export department’s urgent case.

1.     Bachelor degree or equivalent

2.     Ability to communicate and write in both English/Chinese language

3.     At least 5 years working experience in transportation management

4.    Familiar with international trading knowledge or with logistic related background

5.    SAP/ERP experience
